IR Series - Anti-Static Packaging Material

IR series is a semi-transparent Electro Static Dissipative bag for packaging products vulnerable to static electricity. It is non-staining because the surfactant is not used. Since resin itself has anti-static effect, IR series has very low humidity-dependency and it can maintain a stable surface resistance for a long time. Also there is no need to worry about printing ink fading or blocking. It is best packaging material for semi-conductor device and sensitive electronic component packaging.

What is static electricity?

Static electricity is the collection of electric charge built up as a result of the friction. The amount of the accumulated electric charge differs depending on the material.
This electric charge has a tendency to move easily by the friction from the charged object and electrifies the other object. The static electricity can cause serious problems such as the malfunction of semi-conductor device and sensitive electronic component, as well as ruining the expensive products by causing the fire to the organic matter or adhesion of powder to it. IR series is made especially to solve the problem caused by this static electricity, given the special ability to prevent the static electricity to protect your important products.

Also, IR series does not use the six substances prohibited by RoHS directive - Pb (lead), Hg (mercury), Cadmium, Cr+6 (hexavalent chromium), PBB (polybrominated biphenyls of specified bromine flame retardants), and PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ethers of specified bromine flame retardants).
